Saily eSIM Review

Overview

Saily is a travel eSIM service built around a simple mobile app, offering country, regional and global data plans. It focuses on a short, low-friction purchase and installation flow, which suits travellers who want to get connected quickly without weighing up a large catalogue.

How Saily works

You pick a destination or region in the app, choose a data package and pay, then install the eSIM. Plans typically start when the eSIM connects in the destination. Because plan details and catalogues change, confirm the current inclusions on the specific plan page.

Supported destinations and plan types

Saily covers a broad range of destinations, with fixed-data packages as the core product and global plans for multi-region travel. The destination list is smaller than the very largest marketplaces, so check that your specific country is supported before buying.

Activation and app

Installation and management happen through the app, with QR-code options in some cases. Install before you travel and enable the eSIM on arrival so the validity window starts when you can use it.

Hotspot, calls and SMS

Hotspot support depends on the plan, so check before relying on tethering. Saily plans are primarily data plans; if you need a local phone number or SMS, confirm that the plan includes them.

Where Saily tends to fit

Saily is often a good match for travellers who value a clean app experience and competitive entry-level data tiers, and who do not need an unusually large destination catalogue or specialist features.

Alternatives

• Airalo for the widest destination coverage.
• Holafly for unlimited-data plans.
• Nomad for a mix of fixed and unlimited options.
• Ubigi for broad coverage and multi-device accounts.
